LiniE × Breathe and Remember Miyazaki Retreat

Everyone has their own unique charm and potential.

This is a three-day retreat to remember this through the nature, stones, and breath of Miyazaki.

The event is co-hosted by Fumie Niimi, founder and designer of the jewelry brand 'LiniE', and Mami Matsunaga, a certified instructor of breathing and bodywork.

"LiniE's brand concept is 'CONNECT with NATURE, PEOPLE and ME'. To Native Americans, natural stones are considered to be supernatural beings that store ancient knowledge. That's why it's said that 'natural stones are light', but humans also have light (charm and potential) inside of them. When natural stones and people, each of which has its own light, 'connect and harmonize' with each other, they become even more radiant. I wanted to create an opportunity to actually experience this in the great outdoors of Miyazaki Prefecture, so I planned this retreat."

"When you catch your breath, your true self emerges. Experiencing your true self, experiencing it as your true self. I believe this is the joy of living. This retreat is intended to be three days of sharing this joy. Nature is beyond human understanding. Stones, which seem to have been squeezed together from various parts of nature, are also incredible. Humans, who are part of nature, are also incomprehensible beings. Let's awaken our primitive selves and spend three days playing with life."

<Main contents of the retreat>

Free yourself in nature

・Make choices and act based on your own axis

・Return to your true self through breathing exercises and choose a stone from your own Linie collection

- Spend three days with the stone in a place that reminds you that people and nature are connected

*Please take the stone home with you so that you can easily connect with yourself when you return to your daily life.

Date and time: Saturday, October 5th to Monday, October 7th, 2 nights and 3 days

Location: Old-style share house Fuki ( 5068-1 Kaeda, Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture)

Participation Fee: 150,000 yen (tax included)

*The fee includes: all sessions during the retreat, transportation, accommodation, meals (2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners), and stones of your choice.

*Price does not include: transportation to and from the site

Capacity: 8 people *On a first-come, first-served basis. However, payment of the participation fee will guarantee your place in the event.

Niimi Fumie

Founder and designer of jewelry brand 'LiniE'

While working as a graphic designer, she studied jewelry making at a jewelry class run by an Indian jewelry shop, and launched the jewelry brand 'LiniE' in 2006. She became fascinated by the energy and beauty of stones and minerals while surfing around Japan and overseas and experiencing nature. She regularly visits Arizona to carefully examine each natural stone, and presents jewelry that combines modernity and the dynamism of nature. She has an atelier in Omotesando, Tokyo, and currently works in two locations, living in Miyazaki Prefecture. She is a certified first-class jewelry remodeling counselor.

Mami Matsunaga

Certified Breathing and Bodywork Instructor

At the age of 19, she was infected with HIV and began to learn and practice various natural remedies and dietary methods in order to overcome the condition. While exploring what it means to live and what it means to be human, she discovered "breathing and bodywork" and realized that everyday breathing and harmony of mind and body are the keys to overcoming illness and "living". Organized by Breathe and Remember, which aims to help people learn about themselves through their breath, body movements, and behavior. She is constantly searching for ways to see people living their lives as they truly are.
